Since many are "Ford guys" they are still searching for the correct make/model car, rearend, trans, etc. Any suggestions from other Dromer Chevy Drivers/Crew to get these new guys going in the right direction would be helpful. Why should we do this you ask? Because in order to exist Dromer 8 must grow and stay competitive in 2007.

Voting Member Posts: 183 (10/27/06 12:04 AM) Voting Member Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Only one problem Hulio, finding a 98 or Electra is like finding a needle in a haystack, You know that I have a decent sized junkyard to choose from and most back alleys and streets of the west end of Lou. and have only seen ONE Buick and no 98s in three weeks. The best suggestion would be that the track take a look at the fact that the 118.5 wheelbase GMs are about to go the way of the T-Rex and change the rules to 116 for GM in all Dromer racing or make it mandatory to run a ford because that is what its comming to. Not a believer ? just check the streets next time you are out for a drive,better yet call a couple Junk yards to see how many there are to be had. Truth is if there is no change all counts will be down 8 and oval. Not just my opinion, Just the facts! Sweet Dreams and Faster Race Cars! Lefty 61 Out!!!!!!!!!

You will get more natural power than a 350. Giving the cam rules, you can help yourself with torque. As for settings....Go talk to someone that used to run at LMS. These are the same cars that we run back then. BoatQueer, you are telling people that you must have VERY good parts in the bottom end of your motor. That is the kind of gear that we run with the Extreme 8 cars. Team WAR
