I have a 351w with stock trans when I had it in the other car the shifter was on the column when I put the motor in the other car it had a slot in the floor for the shifter what should I use for the linkage?

just use a rod hook it to the tranny and run it threw the slot in the floor that how mine is done works fine use a 5/16 or so solid rod mine is made from the spring rod that holds the trunk open hope this helps
