Yes a fan will pull about 20 to 30 amps and will run the battery down , if ya only use one battery , or ya could do the smart thing and run an alt . I've
noticed guys run lead , batterys are made of lead , just install an extra where you'd put some lead and now ya got some extra hp , and a cooling system
that spins the fan at max speed at idle and will cool yer car down on yellow flag laps . You won't believe it but a race car don't need a fan when
it's racin , I proved it to Bill Dunn when I took his off and he ran twenty laps and it never got hot , he thought I was nuts , ask him how it worked out
