Voting Member Posts: 778 (04/18/10 08:02 PM) PA System Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Remove this ad Hey guys I have a street stock that the transmission was bad in, we switched the transmission with the same type c5 except this one had a shorter tailshaft and the yoke was bolted in, now the problem wear facing is not enough play in the driveshaft to allow the rearend to move up and down, what are my options I've been told I have to get a driveshaft with a carrier bearing assembly or switch the tailshaft are there any other options? We did get the transmission problems fixed and should have it at the Dromes Open Practice. I'm really hoping some guys like Hulio and Artie bring there cars out so I can follow them and learn what lines to run www.Code3Racing.net

His advice is use the correct transmission to start with. Evidently the one you have is for a van or pickup truck? Trade it for a car trans. Follow Murphy. He'll teach ya the Dromer line which will work great for a FWD.

You're running a Street Stock that is too short for the Drome so you're running in the IOFS? In the words of the infamous Don Lister......"OHHHHHH MYYYYYYY!!!!" Where did this car originate?

In fact, I'm thinking about adding a Forum for Salem when they open the Short Track. We have always been here for Figure 8 (AND) Oval and since alot of our Members will be participating at Salem it makes sense to have a discussion area.
