Here is my theory on this, I broke 2 wheels this year one used rim I had at Brownstown which sent the tire and rim flying through the pits and, the second at
the Drome luckily the tire just rolled down the backstretch. The racing wheels are stronger correct? It seems to me this is kind of a safety issue. If not all
4 wheels then why not the RF?

Here is my theory, tighten the lug nuts, I mean your only going about 27mph anyway. I've seen kids in my neighborhood going faster on skateboards..
The kids on ribsticks are way faster than that.. |

The problem isn't always the lug nuts, although I dont think the racing wheel will eliminate the entire problem I think it will help. I have seen the
center of these cheap stock wheels break out, but then you have the problem of the whole hub assembly breaking off of some of them.
Glad to see td is back into racing, even if it is neighborhood kids and skateboards! lmao |
