speaking of rules what is the reasoning behind keeping the stock dashpad in FWDs? Seems to me it might be safer to remove the highly flammable plastic and

Russ, I'm sensing some feeling of being left out?  What do you want to know? It's common knowledge the Dromers are changing tires next season and
there has been much discussion about a head rule but nothing is in writing. And unless MG has some revelation before Jan 1 then Xtreme will stay the same as
always....

Mrs. H, I have been left out my whole life. hmmm... maybe its me? I always try the same stir every year, sometimes it works. I was brought up to date by a few
at the auction, but curious as to what will happen with the head rule? lol head rule.. If they stick with a stock casting # head, will it be enforced as good
as it was last year?
 If they do go with an aftermarket head, what are they
looking at? Lastly, what is going on with the track? Why is it that only a few people know about the track getting repaved??? EVERYONE should know this, not
just a selected few "SPECIAL" people. Stop hiding all of this info from everyone

Russ, I encourage you to check out Sportsdrome Online. Photos of the Track have been posted since before Thanksgiving and are updated
every few days to keep everyone informed of the progress. The reason no "pre-paving" announcement was made is simply because they didn't want to
make a big production and then have something NOT work out (kinda like that Track to the East. Northeast? The first President's county in Indiana).
As for the head rule, it *sounds* like they will simply check casting numbers when they pull the valve covers and check for roller rockers. Having said THAT, this is pure speculation on my part based on inquiries I made about rule changes; And the reason those inquiries were made is because we had a rules chat here, where ALL were welcome, and then presented the suggestions......which included a discussion about dromer heads, pump gas, xtreme headers, less motor rules, more motor rules, FWD points and money, and anything else that was mentioned. So Mr. Russ, you are included. I know it's difficult since we're all OLD now, but you just gotta keep up......

I noticed KMS is releasing some rules.....wondering how the wing rule will effect any of our guys racing since they put limits on the
wings? Does #4 mean you can't have ads on the wings? What if the Driver can exit out the window but the wings go forward?
FIGURE 8 RULES Figure 8 rules are the same as Thunderstock rules with the exception of the following: 1-Tires will be the Towel city recaps such as Hoosier casing Blue dots 8in max only 2-Side wings are allowed. Max. height of 80 in. from groundup, and cannot go past rear of driver and passenger door, driver must be able to exit out the window. 3-all wings must be properly secured. 4-wings must be clear and made of Lexan DROMER RULES 1-If running by Dromer Figure 8 rules you must run them exactly as writtten 2-NO MIX MATCHING OF RULES, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE WING RULE btw....it's hysterical they use "Dromer" in their rules since that is a trademark division known only to Sportsdrome. |

Thank you for making me feel sp sp special. As most who go back and read my post would know, ((((( I WAS ONLY KIDDING ))))) lol esp about the track!!!
I actually got an email from someone saying that they agreed with me about not knowing lol I knew about the track two days before it was announced, not
because I am sp sp special, but because they were working on it when I went by. However, I do want to thank you for including me in with the sp sp special
people. Thank you for all of the hard work and keeping us updated on everything. BTW, plz tell Mr. Hulio its OK to wave at me when we pass each other in our
semis, but he needs to stop the flashing and blowing kisses, geeess

Ohk I know this is WAY off topic, but My Grandma(Dads Mom) was diagnosed with lung cancer about a month or so ago, and has been in and out of the hospital ever since, they are not sure how much longer she's got, but, I am asking you all to keep myself and my Dad and family in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks. Hope Everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and is enjoying their time off....next time I see some of ya'll I'll have a baby. *Ryan's Mommy[[1-11-2010]]*
