You are right Hunn,the Sportsdrome was built back in 1947 with the idea that in the future a guy named Bill Dunn would race there and that they would screw him
out of $17.00 by putting him a few spots out of position,it took alot of work by many people over the years for this plan to work out,but after all these years
they are proud to know that their efforts were all worth it........

How many times did "them Corbin cars" run at Whitesville? 3 or 4? And they are 3rd and 4th
in points? Maybe next year they should show up every week and make it a battle....

lol it wouldnt be a battle ..and yea raymond won i think twice. jeff won the 50 lappers and jon jon won i think maybe 2 times. but those other cars run every
weekend.

Whitesville has the awfullest figure eight I've ever laid eyes on, which is a shame because they are real nice folks and make the people feel welcome and
appreciated. I'd like to run oval there but I'd pass on any 8 racing, it's just too screwed up and someone is going to get killed if they continue
to race the 8 there. It really is a shame becasue the fans love it and sure let you know. But after seeing Bill plow the wall so hard I thought he was dead I
don't think rational people would run it....course nobody ever accused racers of being rational.

Well, I don't have all the details, but I do know that if you happen to see the Bill that hit the wall; please tell him that it is bad enough to steal from
any man but to steal from a track chaplain is about as pitiful as anything I have ever heard!! There is a REAL hot spot down south for people like that! All I
have to say is if you sell him anything make sure you get cash!

the funny thing is you gotta take chances when you love figure 8! and for the most part figure 8 is what brings most fans to the stands.. you practiced the
track one time and didnt like it but for the ones who know how to drive it love it!
