Preventative maintenance is another big thing I have been to the track several nights when a 99 cent hose clamp would have allowed me to finish always look over your belts and hoses before you race.
Go online and Search for Stock Spring Rates its a document you can download that gives you the rates and heights for all Ford Vehicles up until about 2005 instead of trying to squeak through with racing springs go to the junkyard and find the Ford cars that have the rate you want.
