I pulled the payoff from last year. It was $1000, $500 for second, etc. MG didn't remember what it paid last year and obviously got the wrong answer when he inquired. He really thought he paid $300 MORE. You can do the rest of the math...

we did not have as good a finish as we had last year, but when we went to pick up our little check and asked why the check did not match what was posted on the pit stand wall my son got a lecture from mike as to how greedy we were, after all he raised the payout from $500 to $800, no answer as to why the payout sheet did not match.

If Crik is correct he got $1000 (minus $5 for the transponder). How can the Track not know how much they paid out last year?

I hear "BIGTATER" is putting up all the payout for this weekend!
If you don't get you check, go see bigtater next Saturday 8-29-09, in the non-driving, no sex section of the Drome!
He is about 6ft. tall, bright red hair, about 450lbs.

There was mention that the Dromer Oval 2 Hour paid less this year to win. "Officially" the payout last year was $500 to the Winner; This year it was $800 (up $300). Is this information incorrect? Who won last year? Did they collect $1000 for real?

Also, you guys may want to remember the rule about finishing at least half a race. There are a few people consistently running 2 or 3 laps and pulling off the Track. HINT: In the future don't expect to get paid for running 3 laps. Just sayin.......

The dromer-8 will pay $1800.00 to win and $150.00 to start,$500.00 for most laps led and a bonus to EVERY driver who completes at least 75 laps.......

Any chance we can get the purse for big races (other than Extreme 8) posted on the site a week or two before the race? Like the Twisted 50's for the Dromer 8 this week, what is the purse?
